ILLUSTRATOR

Illustrator is a software application that allows you to create drawings, Illustrations and artwork using either windows or a macOS computer. It allows you to create high-quality work. So far I have learned the stroke tools, gradient, pen tool, text wrapping, patterns, and pen tools.

The top left picture shows a work that I have done on Illustrator, it mainly shows the use of patterns, gradients, and pictures. The challenging part was finding out the right type of patterns to use and the way to correctly apply the gradients. I overcame this challenge by carefully selecting each type of pattern and seeing how well they work with the picture.

The picture in the middle shows another work. This picture shows the use of shapes, colors, and shapes. The challenging part was getting the stroke thickness right, the stars and the sizes of all the shapes. I overcame this challenge by zooming in and paying close attention to each of the thickness and sizes

The picture on the bottom right shows the use of the pen tool, in curving and following the line. Every part of this one was challenging because I had to figure out the correct way to use the stroke and to be able to follow the line correctly and not have any dashes show. I overcame this challenge by being patient and taking my time with it.

Doing all these assignments helped further my knowledge of Illustrator and helped me to be able to use thins in a real-world scenario which is helping make posters for an event or classwork that requires lots of details
